Damned if I know. Mind you my parents were once into rusty nails. Besides, Dewers is the upper end of the blended malt scotch line. It's not like it's a single malt scotch which should be blended with nothing (save a single drop ... and that's a drop) of water. And definitely NO ICE!

Dewar's White isn't anything special, and I'd have no qualms about mixing it. I'm rather opposed to blended whisk(e)ys anyway; if a given barrel isn't good enough on its own, then trying to cover up deficiencies through dilution is just muddying the waters.
FWIW, Rusty Nails are better with Glayva instead of Drambuie.

On the reverse side of this topic.
I like Kousa Dogwood fruit/berries.
It's hard to find the proper ripeness when you pick them from the trees, but for someone who doesn't know what they are doing (me), 1 in 8 of these tiny berries are sweet. They tasted a bit like Guava or Sapodilla fruit.
Of course, because they are tiny and you can only suck on the pulp and you have to not chew/eat the prickly outside or the seeds on the inside, this isn't a fruit that you eat in number. But, if you have a free moment with the tree nearby. You can search for a good one.
